Senior Windows Programmer

Our client, an award winning, technically savvy designer of consumer products seeks a Senior Windows Programmer who will report directly to the VP of Systems Engineering. The successful candidate will: · Participate in the specification, design and implementation of Windows applications using .NET / C#. The applications support the system design and configuration a cutting edge electronic consumer products and equipment which is manufactured by one of the leading companies in the field.

· Implement user interfaces and communications protocols over RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet and USB

· Participate in project planning and management.

· Assist QA with test plan creation

· Assist Customer Support as required to resolve field issues.

· Be a strong individual contributor with a history of successful contribution in team based projects.

· Demonstrated successful experience in commercial high quality Windows application development.

Requirements:

· BS/CS or MS/CS degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

· 5+ years Object Oriented software Design and Development

· 1 to 3 years Software development experience in C# / .NET

· Software development experience in MFC / C++ desirable but not required.

· 2+ years experience with TCP/IP and UDP/IP networking

· Ability to write technical documentation and communications as well as possess solid verbal communications skills for dealing with team members, customers, vendors, Trade Shows, etc.
