Manager, HR

Our client is a progressive designer/manufacturer of award winning consumer products located in Lexington. They seek an Human Resources Supervisor to "start-up" and run a new HR Department.

The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years experience as an HR generalist. Staffing experience is not applicable, unless you maintained benefits, salary and personnel records.

You will need to have demonstrated experience in:

Employment practices, including EEO and AA Benefit Administration Salary Administration Recruitment, hiring, orientation, references and maintaining personnel records. Employee Activities and recognition programs Performance Reviews Company communications Other aspects of HR, such as unemployment, worker's compensation, perfect attendance, etc. This is a great 'ground floor' opportunity to grow to grow with an established, fast growing, progressive Company (currently about 100 technical/professional employees).

Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Human Resources, and a professional PHR Certification. We will consider other combinations of professional training and education, but you must have solid, generalist experience.
