Materials Resources PlannerMaterial Resource Planner November 2007 Our local client is the producer of award winning consumer products and seeks an experienced professional Material Resource Planner. You will be responsible for overseeing forecasting and inventory control and skilled at strategic planning to insure proper materials, distribution and supply chain management. Additionally you would work closely with sales and warehouse to provide smooth flow, process improvements and minimize variances. You will work with off-shore suppliers and supply facility. While being responsible for planning you would also be involved with corporate level purchasing, warehouse management and maintaining automated systems related to purchasing, and supply functions while improving costs and processes. This is a newly created position that requires a person with experience, maturity and strong strategic planning skills. You should have a combination of education and experience in MRP planning and be proficient in Excel and MRP software. Ideally you would be APICS certified. Purchasing experience is also requested.
