Contracts Specialist-DoDDescription Exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Specialist to manage complex procurement actions for military contracts. This is a civilian position with a solid company! Previous military or government procurement is needed along with experience mamaging contracts with the Department of Defense. You would work with at least one other contract specialist and a team of IT and project management people located in Lexington, Kentucky. You would be primarily responsible for sourcing vendors; reviewing, renegotiating, modifying, awarding or terminating contracts as well as pricing and negotiations for supply, service and construction contracts. Much of your work will be "classified" so you will need to have a security clearance or be eligible to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. This position is open immediately due to growth.
