VP, Industrial Property DevelopmentOn behalf of our client we are searching for a Vice President of Property Development. This interesting and challenging position is vital to the growth and development of a multi-county region of Kentucky. You will manage the business operations of several entities and serve as Project Management for same.
The successful candidate will be working with various Boards of Directors, local planning commission, economic development, chamber, engineering firms and related construction personnel.
The VP of Property Development will wear multiple hats, and needs experience in commercial property, working with contracts and contractors, engineers, public utilities, vendors, etc. In addition, the VP will be completing industrial park design, acquisitions, re-zoning and grant applications and will possess strong project management skills. Excellent communication skills are needed to communicate effectively up and down the organizations and to the public. Good organization skills are needed to maintain grants, databases, approve marketing/press release efforts, and to manage multiple projects.
Requirements include:
· College degree in related engineering (civil engineeering would be a plus) business, real estate field
· Knowledge and experience in commercial construction and infrastructure planning
· Communicate effectively to all levels of people
· Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
· Solid math and analytical skills
· Ability to wear multiple hats and embrace change and growth
Design of commercial/industrial experience and it's construction is needed.
