Account Manager-Central KY (Industrial Products)Our client is looking for an experienced Account Manager for Central Kentucky for business to business sales serving clients in central, south and east KY.
This company has a solid niche market with sales to a variety of markets---industrial, manufacturing, construction, escavation, and more. You will call on purchasing, engineers, maintenance managers, contractors, safety directors and others established accounts as well as establishing new customers.
You will receive training (OJT) in products, however it is important to have a solid mechanical aptitude, have previous sales experience and the ability to relate to customers at various levels.
This position includes a base salary of 35-40k (plus benefits and expenses paid) while learning the product and clients needs (which could be 12-24 months) and then competitive commission will be offered once you become established. You will also receive health insurance, IRA, paid vacation and personal days and more. This is a ground floor opportunity with a small business and plenty of potential for growth and success. You will work from a home office and travel a couple of days a week (with limited overnight travel). Ideally you would have established contacts in Central KY.
