Lead Financial Auditor, Internal

Lead (Internal) Financial Auditor Our client is a stable, growing, world-class provider of financial services with clients located in nearly half the US. We are looking for an experienced financial auditor to set up internal systems and procedures and take the lead role of Internal (Financial) Auditor.

This is a new position and we are looking for someone who will work closely with the Manager of Audit, Accounting, IT, external auditors as well as the Company's key locations and subsidiaries.

As Financial Auditor you will work on staff in the Company's state-of-the art professional headquarters. The first couple of months you will visit key locations learning the overall business operations. Then you will examine financial systems software, reporting procedures and auditing systems and play a key role in helping to design the internal financial audit program. You will work cross-functionally to establish and improve upon procedures, internal controls, records and security. You may train others, work on process improvement projects, present reports and documentation to executive management and consult inside the Company. You will likely be involved in new acquisitions as the Company continues to grow.
