Project Engineering SupervisorThis is a unique opportunity to be on the fast track to becoming Engineering Manager or Plant Manager with a major US Company! We are Kentucky's premier search and recruiting firm and on behalf of our client are seeking an experienced, degreed engineer (PE eligible) to lead projects and people in their Central KY facility. Your projects will be diverse in their complexity and scope and will enhance capabilities of the company by supporting its' objectives and processes. Projects include such things as space planning, capacity, cost estimating, equipment and process design and improvements, throughput analysis, ergonomics, cost analysis, problem solving and the likes. This Manager also will lead a small team of engineers as well as safety and for the department. A background in Lean and/or six sigma continuous improvement processes is desired. We are looking for a high energy person who is also methodical (detail oriented), and a change agent seeking to grow within the company. Cost savings and process improvements are a top priority. We are seeking: A degreed engineer with the ability to become a PE if needed Leadership skills, promotable into upper management Solid knowledge of engineering practices, OSHA, EPA, cost estimating, project management. Self directed and goal oriented Team player, good with interfacing with other facilities, departments, venders etc. Experience in one or more of the following: Distribution, high speed conveyors, printing, paper converting, storage, automated sorting, warehousing, and/or manufacturing is desired.
