Director, Product Development

Opportunity of a life-time to work with an emerging, exploding agribusiness industry to lead, develop and drive Product Development. You will build and lead a team that will be responsible for innovative new products to improving existing offerings, from concept through commercialization, including bulk ingredients offerings, to finish goods for private label and retail. Works seamlessly with sales, marketing and R&D to drive innovative product concepts through technical feasibility, contract manufacturing partners, and vendor strategies. Working with marketing and sales, assesses market conditions and trends to develop product strategy that will insure company category leadership and be first to market.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum BS degree with product focused understanding
• Seven plus years’ experience in related consumer product (prefer nutritional supplements, food additives, pharma, cosmetics, wellness and similar product offerings)
• Ability to understand long-term implications of product positioning and strategies.
• Proven ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects to completion
• Excellent analytical, innovative, solution-driven person with organizational skills
• Ability to lead a team and communicate expertly across all sectors, managing
  complex business relationships
• Ability to research product trends, customers needs, and industry developments to deliver best in class products
• Ability to determine what is ready for market, coordinating with all support areas
