Process Engineer

Job description Our Central KY manufacturing client is seeking two Process Engineers (or Process Engineering Technicians to train to become Process Engineers). We seek candidates with an Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A combination of education and experience will be considered, however two years experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. * Responsibilities include: *Involved in new product and technology launch *Monitor and Improve manufacturing processes working with production, quality, maintenance *Assist in Design and Development of Manufacturing Processes *Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical etc., robotics, tooling and implement corrective action *Investigate customer concerns and assist with process for resolution *Ensure that the raw materials as well as finished product meet customer specifications Desired Skills and Experience Engineering education and experience combined with good communications skills; ability to be self motivated; enjoy working in a team environment. You need to be able to handle multiple projects. Robotics education or experience is needed along with Kaizen and Lean manufacturing methods. PLC and CAD experience as well. Our client will consider experienced Process Engineers as well as more junior candidates who will be trained and mentored.
